52 Things - The List


Here is the list of #52Things I completed over the 12 months from June 2014-15 plus those that were ideas or suggested. Just click on the link to read the relevant blog post.

There are simple pleasures, a few treats, many are outdoor activities, some are seasonal and there's art and culture in there too and a fair amount of food related treats!

(I began doing a few of these from the beginning of the year, as you can see in the first few posts but officially started on June 9th).

Completed:
February - made marmalade, started yoga, knitting, started running again.

Here's what's left to do - not all but at least 26 more ...
  1. Go to a film/concert/comedy (that's 3 different things)
  2. Visit a bluebell wood
  3. Go fungi foraging
  4. Visit an art gallery
  5. Book a massage
  6. Go to a music festival
  7. Have a spa day
  8. Go to a panto - with or without a small child!
  9. One or a few things involving water - canoeing, sailing ...
  10. Go horse riding
  11. Build something?!
  12. Learn to chop like a chef!
  13. Attend an open theatre event
  14. Go to the opera
  15. See a red kite (preferably in East Sussex)
  16. Drive-in movie - I think there are still a few around
  17. Celebrate the Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter solstice
  18. Burning of the clocks (Brighton - Winter solstice)
  19. Go camping - definitely a summer activity!
  20. Stay in a YHA
  21. Wild swimming - think that's one for the Summer!
  22. Visit a WWT Reserve
  23. Visit an RSPB Reserve (NOT Pulborough - that would be too easy!)
  24. Go fly-fishing
  25. Watercolour course
  26. Burns Night - I love haggis
  27. Try a new type of food
  28. Get hypnosis
  29. Go horse racing
  30. Fly a kite 
  31. Wine tasting
  32. Play guitar
  33. See a red squirrel
  34. Picnic on the beach
  35. Chocolate tasting!  Mmmm chocolate
  36. Attend RHS Chelsea (booked for May)
  37. Get a manicure and painted nails.

... and a few things I've done already, so I've left those off ... for the moment.
